Eden Valley Community Character
Located in unincorporated Escondido, Eden Valley is the northern
tip of Harmony Grove and is rural in nature, extremely quiet, peaceful, and generally remains in its natural state. The area
is single-family rural residential and agricultural in usage, with large lots, residential livestock keeping; equestrian trails,
and the dark night sky is an important aesthetic resource. There is one main roadway in Eden Valley named Country
Club Drive, which is a 2-lane, tree lined residential street with commercial weight limits and is designated as a traffic
calming area. The roadside is often used as a multi-use equestrian trail by the residents. There is no sewer, no street
lights, no traffic lights, no lighted signs, no traffic signals, no curbs, no sidewalks, no extractive land uses, no walled-in
private developments, and no commercial or non-agricultural industry in Eden Valley. Residents here value open
space, quiet, dark nighttime skies, low traffic volume, equestrian trails and access to the abundant wildlife that flourishes
in this beautiful rural environment, appropriately named...

Eden Valley History Facts
Ever wonder why the only road through our community is named
Country Club Drive?
Well, it turns out that on the east side of our valley, where
the Citracado Estates and Hidden Hills housing tracts are now, was the original country club for the Escondido area!
